COMMUNITY and voluntary groups in Horwich are being encouraged to apply for grants.
The bids are usually in the region of £100 to £300, although larger awards are sometimes given.
They are available to all community and voluntary groups that serve the town of Horwich.
The closing date to apply for the grants is October, 2014, and the application forms are available from the town clerk, who can be contacted on townclerk@horwich.gov.uk or on 01204691090.
