AN Astley Bridge resident has been given the go-ahead by Bolton Council to fell a sycamore tree.
Sheila Greenhalgh was bound by law to inform Bolton Council of her plans to fell the tree on land adjacent to 51 Ollerton Terrace, Park Road, as well as prune two sycamores. Officers said it was not necessary to make a preservation order and approved the work.
