TRIBUTES have continued to pour in for a teenager who was found dead at his home last week.

Jake Dunstan, aged 15, was found unconscious and unresponsive by his father at a house in Winchester Way in Breightmet, just days before his 16th birthday.

The teenager had attended Bolton St Catherine’s School in Stitch-mi-Lane for a short period and the school’s headteacher paid tribute to the “popular pupil".

Lee Harris said: “In the period Jake was with us, he was a popular pupil who was making good progress.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.”

Jake’s family and friends are now hoping to raise enough money to give him a fitting funeral.

A Facebook page has been set-up entitled RIP Jake Dunstan and a message has been posted stating that a charity walk will be taking place today to help raise money for the funeral costs.

Jen Healey said the walk would be starting at 4.30pm outside his house in Winchester Way.

She added: “The walk will be to town and back and we will have money tubs as well — I hope everyone can come."
