A WESTHOUGHTON man has been charged with a burglary in which a handbag was stolen.
Ryan Smedley is accused of a burglary in Lower Leigh Road on February 13.
He allegedly stole a handbag containing a purse, Next voucher, £55 of cash, tablets and bankcards, together worth about £100.
Smedley, aged 33, of Old Hall Lane, did not enter a plea at Bolton Magistrates' Court on February 14.
He will appear at Bolton Crown Court for a hearing on March 6.
