TOWN Councillors chose not to comment on an application to install a hand rail on a listed building.
The plan to install a stainless steel tubular hand rail at the entrance to Wigan Golf Club, in Arley Lane, Wigan, was heard by Blackrod Town Council.
The rail will be used to help elderly members use the front entrance.
The building is Grade II listed. Bolton Council Planning Committee will make the final decision in the coming weeks.
