SCHOOL pupils have dug deep to provide valuables to help people in need of help.
Golborne High School pupils took items such as Christmas presents, warm clothing and food to support borough homeless charity The Brick.
Special praise was given to Year Seven pupil Megan Leach who gathered a vast amount of food, toiletries, blankets and more than 50 tubes of toothpaste from different shops such as the Co-op and dentists after writing letters to them to ask for their assistance.
Megan said: “I thought if you are going to donate you may as well go all out.
"Items can mean nothing to someone but the world to others.
“Even though The Brick do a lot of work for homeless people, it is also important to do our bit.
"That is why my mother and I usually buy a sandwich for them if we see someone on the streets.”
