CALLS for a new social media charter for councillors will be discussed tonight.
A motion from Cllr Carole Swarbrick urging Bolton Council to crackdown on town hall politicians spreading ‘fake news’ is on the agenda at tonight’s council meeting.
Also on the agenda is a motion from Cllr Mudasir Dean asking the council to introduce new fines for dog owners found not to be in possession of dog fouling bags while out walking their pets.
Cllr John Walsh will raise a motion on plans to realign the junction of Trinity Street and Manchester Road in the town centre.
