The Spinning Mule in Nelson Square, Bolton, and The Robert Shaw in Market Street, Westhoughton, have unveiled their new-look menu.

Pub chain Wetherspoon has also added two new bagel offerings as well as a quinoa salad to their extensive menu.

The Robert Shaw manager, Cheryll Kean, said: “We are confident that the new meals will enhance our menu and prove popular with customers.”

The pubs are now offering a New York deli burger (6oz beef patty, pastrami, mustard mayo, gherkin) as well as an Empire State burger (two 6oz beef patties, American cheese slices, maple-cured bacon).

Two new hot dogs have also been added to the menu - State dog (Monterey Jack cheese & pepper sauce, maple-cured bacon, gherkin, crispy onion) as well as Bombay dog (curry sauce, tomato, onion, coriander, crispy onion).

Two new bagels are also available - New York-style pastrami bagel (mustard mayo, rocket, gherkin) and smashed avocado bagel (tomato, onion, coriander).
