A RUGBY club’s plans for a new clubhouse have been given the go-ahead.
Westhoughton Lions Rugby Club wants to erect the two-storey building at the playing fields at the end of Cunningham Road.
Council officers said the plan would “provide the benefits of establishing a permanent solution to meet the requirements of the rugby club”.
