THE BSF Over 35s Football League completed their cup finals on Sunday and Moorside Rangers, third in Division Two, won the Division Two final with a surprise 4-1 win over Division champions Turton Bay Mare.

Phil Donlan put Turton ahead in the first couple of minutes, but a stunning Anthony Weall goal levelled for Moorside 10 minutes later and Lyndon Hancock converted a penalty then Moorside scored again to lead 3-1 at half-time.

After the break, Anthony Weall scored from a free kick to give Moorside Rangers the win.

The Division One final went to form as leaders Daten beat Radcliffe Old Boys A 2-0. Paul Whealing and Neil Matthews scored.

Five league games were played and in Division Two Ashtonians beat Old Boltonians 2-0 with goals from John Gough and Steve Pillings.

In Division Three, Noel Shine, Ricky Clare and Andy Spensley scored to give leaders Radcliffe Old Boys B a 3-1 victory at Ainsworth B, but BLGC kept their league hopes alive by beating Crossguns with goals by Allan Mitchell and Jonathan Abernethy.

Dobbies finished third ahead of Golborne Parkside after beating them by the odd goal in seven.

Lane Anderson scored for Wyresdale, but Daz Fitzsimmons and Paul O’Keefe hit the net for the visitors. Turton Bay Mare beat Henighans 2-0 to top Division Two and BLGC beat Ainsworth B 5-0 in Division Three.
