WANDERERS will travel to Scotland next month to face Motherwell in a testimonial match for Keith Lasley.
The Well club captain has spent a total of 14 years at Fir Park in two separate spells and the Paisley-born midfielder has been granted the match for his service to the club after amassing more than 400 appearances.
Motherwell, managed by former Notts County and Scunthorpe defender Ian Baraclough, play in Scotland's top flight and include goalkeeper Dan Twardzik in their ranks – the older brother of Wanderers' Czech Republic midfielder Filip.
They currently sit seventh in the Premiership after two matches.
Having won 1-0 at Inverness Caledonian Thistle on the opening day, they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat to Dundee United on Saturday.
Neil Lennon will take his team north of the border on Saturday, September 5 with no Championship clash scheduled due to an international break.
The Northern Irishman's last visit as manager came near the end of his tenure at Celtic in 2014 and ended in a 3-3 draw – the hosts netting in the last minute to deny Lennon's team victory.
The game will take place at Fir Park, kick off 3pm, with admission details for Wanderers fans yet to be announced.
