DARCY Lever are kitted out for next season after winning a full strip of new shirts in a competition.

It is the latest in a string of new and improved kit and facilities at the Hacken Road club.

The competition was run by Marshall Wooldridge, providers of the ExtraCover Insurance scheme, and leading team wear provider Kalibazar. Darcy spokesman Andy Patel said: “We're very grateful to ExtraCover Insurance and Kalibazar for choosing us as winners for the fabulous new cricket shirts.

"We saw the competition on Twitter, chose to enter and we were thrilled to win.

"It will help us to raise the club’s profile locally and regionally.

"We've recently improved the facilities at the club with a brand new two-lane non-turf practice area, which will help all club members to be able to practise more regularly – particularly the youth teams – as well as having new domed pitch covers delivered this week which will mean we're able to play more cricket at all levels.

"We want to welcome more young players to the club with better facilities now, and ideally we can bring them through to represent the club, county and, who knows, maybe even England.”
