WRESTLING brothers Harry and Charlie Meadows proved a big hit on the Continent after both medalling at a tournament in Germany.
Harry, aged nine, won gold and Charlie, aged 11, won silver at the Ringerverband Nordrhein-Westfalen championships in Aachen.
The boys, who are coached by dad Lee Meadows at Bolton Olympic Wrestling Club, stayed in Utrecht, Holland, prior to the competition, attending a training camp with the De Halter Wrestling Club before competing for them in Germany.
They also attended the Basissch de Zonnewijzer school and where guests of honour for the day.
Lee said: "They wrestled incredibly well at the tournament. Their results were so good that they have qualified for the German National Wrestling Championships, which will be held later this year."
