Wanderers’ B Team youngster Connor Stanley has joined FC United of Manchester on an initial month-long loan.

The 20-year-old moves to Broadhurst Park after ending a loan spell at Bamber Bridge, where he scored twice.

He will still be available for the Whites’ B Team fixtures as well as playing in the Northern Premier League top flight.

The move sees Stanley return to Manchester, having spent four years in Manchester United’s youth ranks after starting his youth career at Birmingham.

He also had a loan spell in the United States with Atlanta United last year as well as playing for United’s Under-23 side in Premier League 2.

The attacking midfielder was on target in the 2-1 win against Lincoln City Reserves last month, firing home from close range.

He also bagged a brace against Wrexham in the Central League, scoring directly from corners for both goals.

FC United are currently third in the league table – just two points behind current leaders Hyde United.

Adam Senior also headed out on loan to Telford United recently, while Arran Pettifer is currently at Atherton Colls.

Meanwhile, Wanderers' B Team will face FC United in a friendly at Broadhurst Park on Tuesday, December 20 (KO 7pm).

Supporters can attend the fixture, with tickets priced at £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under-16s.
