A boxer from Bolton is hoping to make it to 12 wins after three months following his eleventh ring victory.

Khaleel Majid from Bolton will be fighting in Liverpool on October 21 on major platform DAZN, hoping to make it to 12-0.

The super lightweight boxer form Heaton fought in Birmingham last and it was an easy win for the boxer paving his way to success.

Majid said: “My last fight went well, he was a tough kid but I knocked him down in the first round.

"I had the first round in the bag and I had massive support from everyone.

"And now I am fighting in Liverpool, straight into the lion’s den because he is from Liverpool."

But it isn’t just because Farrell is from Liverpool that Majid was being thrown into the lion’s den – Farrell is fighting in his hometown.

He said: "He has the best opportunity to do it, and he has fought some good guys, but I am ready.

"I feel good and it will be a test for myself to see what I am really made of."

Speaking of his time in Birmingham, Majid said he felt ‘at home’ in the big city.

He said: "It was good in Birmingham, it did not feel like I was there, it felt like I was at home because of the support from all the people that came out to see me.

"I actually really enjoyed it and it was surreal to hear so many people chanting my name.

"And when you are getting tired, it can pump you up."

Majid has been pumping himself up in the time leading up to his fight, especially when he trained in the US, saying it helped him ‘massively’ for the recent fights with training from Buddy McGirt, a renowned American boxer.

He said: "I have been learning the art from Buddy McGirt, and it went really well.

"My dad has always been there for me, he is my backbone and without him there is no me.

"And all I am doing now is focussing on the job at hand."
