WANDERERS (3-5-2).

NATHAN BAXTER…6.5.

Could do nothing about the Orient goals and always looking to get Wanderers moving forward, even if it needs to speed up. Not tested significantly otherwise.

GETHIN JONES…6.

Full of energy early on and got into some good crossing positions but everything rather lost its way after the break.

WILL FORRESTER…7.5.

Pushed on well first half and looked positive in possession. Brave defending when the screw was being turned late on.

EOIN TOAL…6.

Filled in for Santos in the middle of the three and won his fair share in the air. Possession wise, there is room for improvement.

JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…6.

Took his goal really well and looked in the groove, then it all got sloppy. Perhaps guilty of losing his man for Orient’s second.

KYLE DEMPSEY…5.5.

Still seems to be feeling his way back after injury and wasn’t as reliable on the ball as usual. Missed opportunity for him.

JOSH SHEEHAN…6.

One of few Wanderers who really didn’t waste the ball – but you couldn’t say the Welshman was really in control for the final hour of the game.

GEORGE THOMASON…6.

Grabbed another goal and getting increasingly confident around the penalty box. Hit and miss with the passing at times, though.

JACK IREDALE…5.5.

Put some good balls into the box in the opening exchanges but his passing wasn’t sharp on the day overall.

DION CHARLES…6.5.

Looked in the mood. Didn’t really get the service later in the game but Orient’s defenders really didn’t know what to do with him at times.

JON DADI BODVARSSON…6.5.

Like Charles, his effectiveness lessened as the game went on but for that first 20-30 minutes he was untouchable with his hold up play. Should have scored, too.

Referee: Charles Breakspear 7/10 – Kept the game running nicely and stamped out a few of the naughtier challenges, the majority of which were aimed at Sheehan.
