FARNWORTH Social Circle progressed to the semi-final of the Hamer Cup with a 108-run win at Kearsley.
Matt Parkinson scored 101 not out for the Piggott Park men as Circle notched 216-7. But Kearsley fell well short of the target, dismissed for 108 with Chris Barrow taking 6-28.
The match was an action replay of the Bolton League fixture the day before at Springfield Road, which SC also won, but by a narrower 18-run margin.
Elsewhere, the Heaton v Horwich, Greenmount v Bradshaw, and Eagley v Egerton ties were all postponed because of the weather and have been rescheduled for Sunday.
