THERE has been some instant transfer activity in the Bolton Cricket League.
Greenmount, who are leaving the League for the Greater Manchester League, have lost two players who will still be playing in the Bolton League next season.
Opening batsman and bowler Phil Ingram has left the Bury club for Horwich while his former team-mate Chris Evans has gone from Greenmount back to his previous club Bradshaw.
Both Bradshaw and Horwich have been busy as they look to build sides capable of making assaults on BCL league title in its first season of expansion next year.
Horwich brought in top South African professional Brett Pelser last week while Bradshaw have recruited former Pakistan test wicketkeeper/batsman Atiq-uz-Zaman from Bramhall.
Uz-Zaman formerly played for Westhoughton and St Annes and is coming to Bradshaw as player/coach.
It is a case of coming home for Ingram who played at Horwich at the beginning of his career.
He has been one of the top players in the Bolton League for many years and was a key member of the Greenmount side last season scoring 852 runs and taking 44 wickets.
