ATIQ Uz-Zaman knocked a century as Bradshaw shocked Bolton League leaders Farnworth Social Circle in the 40-over competition on Sunday.

Openers Chris Barrow (34) and Tim Barrow (50) both scored high as the Piggott Park outfit made a decent start in the Group Two encounter.

Jake Scicluna knocked 33 but impressive bowling from Shahzaib Khan (4-17) and Uz-Zaman (3-21) had Social Circle bowled out for 166.

Uz-Zaman scored 101 not out in reply, which along with Tom Liversedge's 41 saw off the target with nine wickets to spare.

The other match in Group Two saw Eagley take Farnworth to the last over.

Adil Nisar (55), Jack Horrocks (50), Imran Mirza (70no) and Simon Booth (37) all scored high as the Lavender Road outfit posted a target of 246-4.

Agah Salman (136) knocked his maiden century for Eagley in reply and Will Shuttleworth added 31.

Needing one run from the final over, Eagley were bowled out first ball meaning Farnworth wrapped up a last-ditch win.

In Group One Westhoughton defeated Darcy Lever for the second time is as many days.

Cameron Murray (86) and Shaun Brooks (27) fired Darcy to a total of 176-6.

Skipper Rob Houghton spearheaded the reply, knocking 49, while professional Qaiser Abbas scored 30 as they saw off the target with three wickets remaining.

Also in Group Two Horwich beat Little Hulton by 80 runs.

Heaton recorded a narrow win at Atherton in Group Three.

After being set a target of 236, Amar Ullah struck a half-century for the hosts before Jack Shovelton chipped in with 40 to set up a tight finale.

And needing nine off the last over, Atherton were bowled out seven runs short of the target.

Little Lever suffered their second defeat of the weekend at home to Walkden.

The visitors ran up a tally of 240 after brilliant batting from Taylor Hayes (54), Hasnain Abbas (46), Sayed Shah (33) and Aman Arora (30). Gareth Moxon (4-24) and Joe Rushton (3-62) did the damage with the ball.

Moxon then knocked 24 when he turned his hand to the bat in support of professional Zafar Gohar who hit a half-century.

But the Victory Road side had no answer to the bowling of Shah (4-17) and Aiden Markram (3-3) as they were bowled out for 113.
