Heavy snow across the country has cast doubt over the League Two clash at the Don Valley Stadium.

Should the fixture go ahead, the promotion-chasing Shakers could go second if results elsewhere go their way following a run of four wins out of five.

But Alan Knill’s in-form side will be missing Ben Futcher after the big defender pulled his hamstring in Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Luton.

Efe Sodje is set to make his first start since being sent off at Shrewsbury on December 28 in his place.

l Knill has been nominated for the League Two January manager of the month award. His side have gone five matches unbeaten, the run including four victories.
