BURY’S hunt for a new manager continues, with the club locked in negotiations with their number one candidate, believed to be former Wanderers assistant manager Neil McDonald.
They had hoped to unveil their man before the weekend, but have since issued a statement saying that talks are ongoing.
They have been boosted, however, with the news that experienced defenders Efe Sodje and Ben Futcher have signed new contracts with the club, for two and one years respectively.
