THE BBDFL has had a formal partnership with Bolton Wanderers for six years with many of our best players making the step up to academy football at the club.
John Howarth, who is the head of academy recruitment at Wanderers, is our liaison officer and regularly attends our league meetings.
Wanderers provide the Macron Stadium and Eddie Davies Academy for our cup finals and this year is no different with under-12s Players and Chairman's Cup finals and under-16s, u17s, u18s and u21s Chairman's Cup finals taking place at the Macron Stadium on Saturday, May 21.
The following day, Sunday, May 22, we are at the Eddie Davies Academy for nine more cup finals throughout the day.
Finally, on the evening of May 25, we hold our final u21s cup final at the Macron Stadium.
Each of these events are provided to the league as part of this ongoing partnership and we are extremely grateful for the ongoing support of the club.
We encourage all people who enjoy the very best in grassroots football to support these events at both the Eddie Davies Academy and the Macron Stadium.
Entry is free and all are welcome to attend to support the young footballers on their big day.
