THE Great Manchester 10k saw Harrier Andrew Crickmore go under 37 minutes for a top-100 position, while Simon Dally performed his sub-40 pace-making duties to aplomb, getting the flag home with 10 seconds to spare.

John Grimshaw just missed out on a season’s best, while Ged Tucker tripped over the hour mark – raising money for the National Autistic Society as he did.

Lee Petch completed the group with 2:08:13.
