WANDERERS are keeping their fingers crossed for good news on full-back Dean Moxey.
The only senior left-back at Neil Lennon’s disposal, Moxey limped out of the 1-0 defeat against MK Dons last night and is set to have an X-ray on a toe injury later today.
If the problem proves serious enough to rule him out of this weekend’s game against Nottingham Forest, Wanderers may look to give a short-term contract to Spaniard Juan Manuel Casado, who has been on trial over the last week.
The 29-year-old started out in the youth ranks at Barcelona and Sevilla and then went on to make more than 100 appearances for Rayo Vallecano.
Last season Cosado played alongside new loan signing Wellington Silva last season at Almeria.
