WANDERERS’ second pre-season of the summer against Danish side HB Koge has been cancelled.
The game, which was due to be played at Castus Park in Herfolge on July 6, has now been shelved after a change in the Whites’ pre-season planning.
“Bolton has a new manager in the summer break and subsequently decided to change their start-up program,” a statement read on the HB Koge website.
There is no indication that the friendly against Helsingor, scheduled for July 9, is affected.
The Whites released the following statement: "After further consideration and discussion it was felt that it was too early and as such the game will no longer take place.
"Wanderers will instead focus on training at their base in Malmo, before concluding their time in Scandinavia with the game against FC Helsingor on Saturday 9 July.
"The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
