FORMER Wanderers striker David Ngog has linked up with his former Bolton boss Owen Coyle at Ross County.

The French striker was signed from Liverpool in the summer of 2011 for £4million but managed just 16 goals in 91 games as the Whites dropped out of the Premier League.

After relegation, Wanderers rejected a £3m offer from Fulham for the striker in the hope he and £3.2m Marvin Sordell could fire them back to the top flight.

But it wasn’t to be, and just over a year later Ngog moved on to Swansea for £500,000. He then spent just a few months at the Liberty Stadium before heading back to French football with Reims.

Ngog last played in Greece for Panionios but after being released in the summer he has now been offered a way back into the game by Coyle, who has been in charge at Ross County since September.
