THERE proved no transfer deadline drama at the Reebok as Owen Coyle resisted the urge to add any permanent signings to his three loan acquisitions of the January window but loaned out two of his younger players.
Reserve team striker Tope Obadeyi has joined join League Two leaders Rochdale for the remainder of the season, while Coyle has also allowed young striker Danny Ward to extend his loan at League One Swindon Town until the end of the season.
A much-mooted move for centre-half Danny Shittu never materialised, however, despite late reported interest from Glasgow Rangers.
