MATCHDAY LIVE SPECIAL: Wanderers Youth v Sheffield United Youth
This live event has finished
Agony as Rob Holding sees his kick saved and the Blades are through 4-3 on penalties. A cruel end but they will feel they deserved to go through

OH NO!! Torres hits the post ..still 3-3-
Jamie Thomas coolly send the keeper the wrong way...3-2
Calvert-Lewin equalises 2-2
Newby next up and sweet into bottom left corner 2-1
Dimaio for the Blades coolly sends Jaaskelainen worng way 1-1
Here we go then and Wanderers are up to take the first penalty through Sam Bailey at the South Stand end...
He scores as he hammers down the middle 1-0
That's it....penalties it is to see who goes through
Less than five minutes away from the dreaded shoot-out
Elliot Newby fires in from an angle on the left but Eastwood gathers comfortably with six minutes left
Abbotts' height and physical presence has changed things for the Whites and caused the Blades problems
Chance wasted for the Whites as Torres runs through on the left but sees his square ball to Abbotts hit a defender
We are underway again...the final 15 to see if either side can avoid penalties
It's half-time in extra time and still 1-1
Khan has just curled a free kick from 20 yards over the bar....how he must rue his own missed chances
The Blades look blunted in extra-time after being denied by the woodwork three times.
Maybe the Whites' name is on this cup!
Abbotts' wonder goal has sent us into extra-time.
Those kids in the crowd will be staying up a bit later tonight mums and dads!
Sub Abbotts hammers home an unstoppable shot into the top corner to level it up in the 91st minute!
Final change for the Blades as Fahad Ismail comes on for Ben Whiteman..we areinto the last minute of normal time.
There are three to be added
So close to a leveller but the ball just would not drop to Torres after a deflection just a few yards out
Jaaskelainen again does well at his near post to turn behind a Khan shot. At 15, he has certainly done the family name proud tonight between the sticks
A second substitute for the Whites sees Carl Kennedy replace Chris Cvetko on 81 minutes.
The woodwork to the rescue again on 79 minutes as the post denies the Blades this time from a 20-yard free-kick from Khan
Jaaskelainen again keeps Wanderers in it as he pushes away Khan's effort from 18 yards.
United have rattled the bar again on 74 minutes, this time it was a thunderbolt from Connor Dimaio that beat Jaaskelainen all ends up but came back off the woodwork
Second change for the Blades sees Louis Reed replace the lively Joel Coustrain.
A lick of paint saves Wanderers as Khan againt beats the offside trap - this time inside the box and lobs the ball over Jaaskelainen but it bounces on the top of the bar and behind
Sheffild United change on 64 minutes sees Daniel Cockerline on for Jake Eyre
Half an hour to go and the Whites make a change up front with William Abbotts on for Jamie Hinchcliffe.
Half-hearted shouts from Torres for a penalty on 56 minutes after he goes down under pressure from Ioan Evans - referee Jason Tyas was unmoved
Still very scrappy game but Jaaskelainen has just pulled off another smart save low at his near post to deny Jake Eyre
The teams are back out...though to a darker Reebok with the floodlights markedly dimmer for the second period
After one added minute, it's half time and Wanderersare unlucky to go in 1-0 down.
Unfortunately, the corner comes to nothing and we are into the final minute of a tight first half
Great run on the right into the box by Elliot Newby forces a corner.. he was caught and stayed on his feet, commendably
Then, a wicked inswinging free-kick from wide on the right from Cvetko causes some panic but no-one can get a touch
Sam Bailey arrows a left-footer from distance towards goal on 39 minutes but it rises just above the angle of post and bar
It's been a good response so far from the young Whites to going a goal behind...can they get on level terms before half-time?
It's bad news on 32 minutes as the Blades take the lead through Otis Khan. He times his run to perfection from Joel Coustrain's pinpoint pass to fire low past Jaaskelainen. 0-1
Chances at a premium now as both sides stand firm in defence and it becomes a midfield battle for supremacy
Great run by Jamie Thomas down the left but he runs into a yellow wall as he cuts inside - that's the yellow of Sheffield United's Norwich-style away strip
First corner for the Whites on 18 minutes but it's well cleared from the six-yard box
Interesting to note not one of the 20 outfield players is wearing a long-sleeved shirt and no gloves on show either...these kids are made of tougher stuff than those Premier League pansies!
Great to see so many young fans in the crowd at the Reebok tonight. It's an entertaining opening for them
The first chance for the hosts falls to Dominic Calvert-Lewin from 8 yards but Jaaskelainen saves well with his feet despite being wrong-footed...that will give the youngster confidence.
Another good chance as Sam Bailey's low drive from 20 yards is momentarily spilled by Jake Eastwood in the Blades goal before he gathers at the second attempt on 3 minutes.
Just 30 seconds in and the Whites go close when Elliott Newby's low cross-shoit across goal just fails to get a touch...positive start for the hosts
Big night for all the young Whites but particularly 15-year-old keeper Will Jaaskelainen as he makes his first appearance at a ground dad Jussi graced for so long in the Wanderers shirt
Tweet me any comments to @davidpyeBN and I'll do my best to respond...
