4:46pm
Knight header just wide. So close.
4:42pm
Ngog on for Sordell.
4:39pm
Holden on for Vela. What an amazing reception.
4:37pm
Holden coming on!
4:34pm
Attendance 18,760
4:31pm
Afobe on for Eagles, who has worked really hard.
4:29pm
Could be anyone's game still. Everton starting to look a little more dangerous but Wanderers excellent on break.
4:27pm
Great save from Lonergan to get fingertips on Pienaar's effort from edge of the box.
4:26pm
Great break from Wanderers - Eagles squared ball across and Sordell just could not get on the end of it. Everton rattled.
4:25pm
Alonso dictating the game at the moment.
4:18pm
Lonergan well out to grab the ball from Jelavic after he had turned on to Fellaini's long pass.
4:12pm
Fair play to Alonso - the transfer speculation doesn't seem to have affected him at all. Good performance thus far.
4:11pm
Alonso drills a low shot from the edge of the box, pushed away by Howard.
4:10pm
@MarcIles How's Vela gettin on? Big test against Fellaini today
— @njcoleman79 26 January 2013
4:10pm
Alonso lifts the ball over the wall but well over the bar too.
4:09pm
A free kick for a foul against Chung-Yong. At last!
4:08pm
Half chance for Everton there as Anichebe heads wide. Not dominating as they had in the first quarter of the game, though.
4:04pm
Back underway at the Reebok and no changes at the interval.
4:01pm
To top it off, a very passable carrot and corriander soup at half time.
4:00pm
So far so good for Wanderers, who could easily be leading this game. Another half like the last and there will be few complaints here.
4:00pm
@MarcIles come on bolton, let's eat some toffees!!

3:59pm
@MarcIles any Sordell chants to the tune of Bat out of Hell yet? Surely a matter of time...
— @BaddDdad 26 January 2013
3:47pm
Half time - a good 45 for Wanderers.
3:46pm
One minute of added time. Wanderers still on top.
3:44pm
Chung-Yong being offered very little from the referee today. That's the third time he's been flattened and got nothing.
3:42pm
Chungy curls a left-footed effort just wide. More good build up from Alonso down the left.
3:39pm
Sordell nearly sprung the offside trap again there. Ball from Eagles.
3:38pm
Wanderers finishing the half much the stronger of the two sides.
3:37pm
Eagles goes for it from 30 yards out. Ball moved a lot but Howard held on.
3:36pm
Alonso picks up a loose ball just outside the box, beats a man and drills a shot that forces Howard into another save.
3:34pm
Anichebe heads wide from a Jelavic cross. Should have done a lot better.
3:31pm
Wanderers have grown into this half and are playing some good stuff now. Cup tie atmosphere has finally arrived too.
3:29pm
Pratley brings a good save out of Howard after Eagles had driven deep into Everton territory with a great run.
3:29pm
What a move from Wanderers. Ricketts started it off with a great ball to Pratley down the right - his cross was turned in at the near post by Sordell.
3:27pm
GOAL WANDERERS
3:24pm
Eagles ruled offside after Sordell's excellent turn and pass had put him through.
3:22pm
Spearing corner, Chung-Yong heads wide from some distance.
3:20pm
On balance of play Everton deserve the lead. Another cross undoes Wanderers, though.
3:20pm
Pienaar got the decisive touch, albeit with a big deflection to take it past Lonergan. Baines' cross.
3:18pm
GOAL Everton
3:17pm
Gueye on for Mirallas. Good news for Wanderers.
3:16pm
Very warm round of applause for Stu Holden as he warms up on the touchline. Looks like Gueye coming on for Everton.
3:15pm
Brief foray into Everton territory for Wanderers as Chung-Yong then Pratley chase lost causes to good effect. Looks like being a tough, tough afternoon.
3:10pm
Jelavic nearly turned in Anichebe's cross there. Good block from Ream and then Knight cleared.
3:09pm
It has been all Everton possession-wise.
3:09pm
Mirallas looking dangerous early on. Just lashed a shot well wide, but his pace and movement are a real threat at the moment.
3:07pm
Mirallas hits it right footed, but it bounces off wall for a corner.
3:07pm
Knight gives away a free kick on edge of the box.
3:06pm
Pitch is bobbling a little. Might come into play later on when the temperatures really drop on Winter Hill.
3:02pm
Dangerous ball in from Jelavic. Pienaar got a slight touch, but Ream clears.
3:00pm
Game up and running.
3:00pm
@MarcIles How close is Stuart Holden to starting a game? We need him back!
— @1MarkBrennan 26 January 2013
2:57pm
It is of course 500 games for David Moyes today too - amazing achievement. Banner in the Everton end calling for 500 more too.
2:55pm
Fellaini has scored three in four at the Reebok. He's the man to stop today.
2:52pm
There have been three red cards in the last five games between Everton and Bolton. David Wheater here the last time the Toffees were at the Reebok... can still see that first touch...
2:48pm
Atmosphere building up around the ground. Still plenty of empty seats but around 20,000 still expected. Everton fans filling two tiers at away end.
2:38pm
There seems to be an annoying constant drip coming from the roof directly on to my desk... Won't take it personally though.
2:33pm
Pitch looking a little bit patchy during the warm-ups. Understandable with all the trampling/uncovering this morning.
2:27pm
Packed press box today. Just hope we don't run out of hot tea...
2:14pm
2:07pm
Holden on the bench with Craig Davies - will we see either of them this afternoon?
2:07pm

Subs: Mucha, Heitinga, Oviedo, Naismith, Gueye, Vellios, Duffy
2:06pm

2:04pm
Teams are out and it's a start for Marvin Sordell!
1:49pm
And should Kevin Davies feature today, it will be his 400th appearance for the club. Fantastic effort. Joins a select band of 21 players to have achieved it, most recently Ricardo Gardner.
1:48pm
@MarcIles predicted starting 11?

1:44pm
@MarcIles Any news on who the other two targets are that Freedman is after?

Hopefully, everyone has managed to dig their car out or trek their way to the game today. But for those who haven't, hopefully I can fill in a few of the gaps!
1:38pm
There is now a story about said contract up on The Bolton News website...
1:31pm
Secondly, news before kick-off that youngster Tom Eaves has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
1:28pm
Firstly, a big well done to the fans who responded to the club's call this morning to come down to the stadium with their shovels and clear the pathways. Brilliant effort and the place looks great.
1:27pm
Good afternoon all. The game has survived the weather, and I've negotiated the snow between Tyldesley and Horwich to take my seat in the press box.

£2 million for a handful of mostly inept performances is not good business, especially when you consider how traditionally weak we have become in the left back position. Loan signings apart, we have not been able to field an effective left back since the days of Simon Charlton, a situation made all the more exasperating with the news that the club is apparently looking to sign a right back. With Ricketts, Mears and especially Joe Riley already in the squad, I would not have thought that strengthening in that position would be a priority right now.
Still, Mr Freedman is showing signs of steadying the ship, and I expect that next season we will see a determined effort to exit the Championship in an upward direction.

Marcos Alonso was outstanding again today following his Man of The Match display against Millwall; we must make every effort to keep him or at least sort his contract out so that when he does leave it will be for a hefty fee.
