9:01pm
Crowd given as over 2,500 approx
8:59pm
That's it...the Whites are through after an amazing night...thanks to everyone who logged on
8:53pm
8-4: Still time for one more when Clough gets that goal he deserves after sub Newby saw his shot saved with 30 seconds to go.
8:49pm
Five minutes of added time...about right I suppose with six goals and four subs!!
8:47pm
8:38pm Fri 15 Feb 13
Colin B says
The future is bright for the Super Whites!
8:46pm
Zach Clough sees a shot go agonisingly wide of the far post..he may not have his name on th scoresheet but has worked as hard as anyone.
Two minutes to go and Walker comes off to be replaced by Elliot Newby
8:39pm
Great save by Sievers who gathers at the second attempt
8:35pm
7-4: Now Youngs has a hat-trick when he cuts iun from the left to wrong-foot McGee...he will have to fight Walker for the matchball
8:33pm
8:27pm Fri 15 Feb 13
Colin B says
David how good are these lads? Can you see a few breakinging into the 1st?
Electric going forward, Walker has had a fine game for just 17 years old and Youngs knows where the goal is as well
8:31pm
6-4: Some nerves on the away bench now as Coulthirst nets his second from a cute cut-back from the right.
8:29pm
This is scintillating stuff...what a Friday night feast for those at White Hart Lane...Walker has just seen a shot come off the post...he could have had four...that's just greedy!
8:27pm
@davidpyeBN Wow, Dave this is amazing. Just like being there. That missing goal has now appeared on matchday live.

8:27pm
@davidpyeBN not sure about the LFA cup but it was a great team full of great names - Allardyce, Whatmore, Reid - getting all misty eyed!!
— @grundyian 15 February 2013
8:26pm
6-3: Spurs have a penalty and Ruben Lameiras side-foots home
8:25pm
6-2: It's SIX...Walker completes his hat-trick when he curls home a low free-kick. What a night for him and his team-mates this is.
8:18pm
5-2: Surely Wanderers have one foot in the quarter finals now as Youngs gets his second when his shot deflects and wrongfoots McGee
8:16pm
Spurs sub on 57 mins as Bentaleb is replaced by Joshua Onomah
8:14pm
Great shot by Youngs is paried away by McGee...the Whites have their mojo back again
8:11pm
4-2: Wanderers have their two-goal lead back and what a fast counter-attack that brought it from Chris Lester. he picked up the ball on halfway, played a neat one-two and the retrun pass from Youngs was perfect for him to slot home under McGee.
8:05pm
@grundyian @davidpyebn Is that the year we won the LFA youth cup beating Utd in final at OT if I am right?
— @mitchcregs 15 February 2013
8:05pm
Two minutes in and an early chance as Zach Clough's driven free-kick is straight at a thankful McGee
8:03pm
Back underway for the second half...Can the Whites hold on?
7:50pm
That's it and it's 3-2 after a lively first half
7:50pm
You have to ask why the whistle wasn't blown before the corner...it happened in Madrid on Wednesday before Man United took their corner so let's have some consistency
7:49pm
3-2: Well it was comfortable as we go way beyond the two minutes and Spurs get one back when Nabil Bentaleb places home from a low corner..David Lee and Tony Kelly are furious with the officials.
7:45pm
Two added minutes to play and it's comfortable for the young Whites approaching the half-time brew
7:36pm
Walker blazes a free-kick high over the bar from distance but we will forgive him that after two goals already
7:34pm
Great save from Sievers to keep out a powerful deflected effort from Coulthirst and then a fine punch under pressure from a corner soon after
7:31pm
@davidpyeBN that Wanderers youth team was the basis of the successful Armfield - Ian Greaves teams of the 70s
— @grundyian 15 February 2013
7:30pm
3-1: Unbelievable stuff...Walker with his second from just inside the box as Wanderers show their attacking prowess...dream stuff this
7:29pm
@davidpyeBN Dave, who scored the first goal? Doesn't say on matchday live
— @NickJackson29 15 February 2013
7:27pm
It's the young Whites in charge now...brimming with confidence and they have silenced the White Hart Lane crowd
7:26pm
7:23pm Fri 15 Feb 13
Colin B says
Ian I was there, seem to remember about 6000/7000 turning up for some of the youth games in that period
7:26pm
2-1: What a turnaround...just 60 seconds after Walker's strike, Tom Youngs gets into the box to slide a second past McGee with his left foot...who needs Gareth Bale??
7:24pm
1-1: It's level and what a stunning strike from Wanderers left winger Thomas Walker who cuts back onto his right foot and curls into the top corner...game on
7:22pm
A great chance for Wanderers as the ball gos square to the onrushing Chris Lester and into the box he pokes it past Luke McGee in the home goal but left-back Liam Gibson gets back to clear off the line.
It's th first chance for the Whites..let's hope they gain confidence from it
7:18pm
Spurs frontman Ruben Lameiras gets a shot away from 20 yards but drags hs left-footer wide
7:17pm
@davidpyeBN I went to an FA Youth Cup at Burnden circa 1973 possibly v Arsenal - Liam Brady strutting his stuff - anyone else there?
— @grundyian 15 February 2013
7:14pm
Sievers gets down well at his near post to stop Michael-Percil squeezing in fron an acute angle
7:12pm
Spurs are playing with confidence in the early stages with a decent crowd behind them...Winger Roman Michael-Percil is like a mini Aaron Lennon on the right flank with similarly quick feet
7:06pm
0-1 ...It is a bad start for the Whites after a birght first few minutes they are behind after just 5 minutes...a low cross from the left finding Shaquile Coulthirst and he slides in from six yards to put Spurs ahead
7:02pm
For information, this tie must be settled tonight so we could be in for penalties...let's hope the Whites can setle it in 90 minutes
7:00pm
The teams are out...Essex referee Michael Bull about to get us underway..
Remember you can tweet me @davidpyeBN and I'll do my best to respond on here
6:56pm
It's a quieter White Hart Lane than last night when Spurs first team took on Lyon in the Europa League...in fact, I am the only resident of the press box but I'm not too lonely...I'm the row behind the Wanderers bench
6:52pm
Team news..

Hello to all who are choosing to stay away from the usual Friday night temptations to follow the fortunes of the Wanderers Youth team.
They are up against a Tottenham team that despatched West Ham in Round Four but the Whites won at Premier League Reading so will fancy their chances of an upset.
David Pye here at a chilly White Hart Lane ready to keep you up to date...
