Taylor tonic for Whites

BRITANNIA Stadium hero Matt Taylor has revealed that an undetected bout of illness has affected his form for Wanderers this season.
The winger completed his remarkable return by scoring twice in the last five minutes against Stoke on Saturday, following another man-of-the-match performance against Chelsea.
Taylor said: “I was in and out of the team about the time we played Blackburn. I didn’t feel myself and went to have a blood test. It said that somewhere along the line over the last six months I have had glandular fever.
“It answered a few questions for me because I wasn’t playing particularly well. I wasn’t my usual self.”
