KEVIN Nolan was today having a medical ahead of completing a £4.5million move to Newcastle United.
The Geordies came in with a surprise swoop for the Wanderers captain yesterday and the deal has moved along swiftly.
As revealed by The Bolton News last night, Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear has targeted the 26-year-old midfielder as the man to drive the Magpies away from the relegation zone.
The two clubs have agreed the fee and Nolan is expected to move to the North East as long as there are no complications with today's medical.
