NICOLAS Anelka has ended speculation over his Reebok future by signing a new four-year contract with Wanderers.
The France international striker, rumoured to be a target for a host of Premiership clubs, confirmed his comitment to the club and to new manager Sammy Lee today by extending his existing deal to the summer of 2011.
Wanderers made it clear they did not want to lose Anelka when, as revealed in The Bolton News, they held talks with his representatives yesterday.
The 28-year-old France international still had this season and two more to run on the contract he signed when he joined Wanderers from Turkish club, Fenerbahce, in an £8million record transfer last year.
But Lee and his Reebok bosses were determined to show the former Arsenal and Real Madrid ace that they were keen to keep him on board.
