Bolton Wanderers have been fined more than £5,000 for the behaviour of their fans in the controversial Uefa Cup away game with Atlético Madrid.
The Spanish side have been fined three times as much - more than £14,000 - for incidents in the last 16 second-leg clash in Spain on February 21, Uefa announced on their website this afternoon.
A statement reads: "Atlético were punished for the throwing of missiles and fireworks by spectators, crowd disturbances and insufficient organisation, while Bolton were fined for crowd disturbances. Both clubs may lodge appeals within three days of receipt of the grounds for the decision."
