ABDOULAYE Meite's Reebok future is in doubt after it emerged that he refused to play in the second half of Wanderers' 2-0 defeat at Manchester United.
The Ivory Coast centre back complained that he was not fit to continue, but a furious Gary Megson refused to accept the player's explanation and has now ordered him to train with the reserves.
The astonishing half-time bust-up at Old Trafford brought to a head an issue that is believed to have been ongoing since Meite returned from the African Nations Cup in Ghana in February.
A Reebok source said Meite had been told he would no longer train with the first team squad and would not be considered for the Premiership game against Manchester City on Saturday.
