Various streets in the Smithills area will be closed towards the end of this month for vital works.
Bowen Street and Boyle Street will be closed from April 13 for approximately two days whilst resurfacing works are underway.
The road closures will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Bowen Street between Endon Street and Lowndes Street and on Boyle Street between Burnham Avenue and the back of Conway Avenue to allow resurfacing works to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
