Celebrations marking 20 years of a nursery continued with the owner taking centre stage in a ceremony in which she found out how much she means to staff and children.

Staff and children presented personal messages to Julie Robinson of Eagley School House Nursery on how she has inspired them.

Celebrations at Eagley School House Nursery began in September, with some former pupils paying Julie a special visit.

Ward councillor Cllr Sam Connor said: “Staff at Eagley School House Nursery praised the owner for her passion, hard work, loyalty, and support towards her staff and the community for over 20 years.

The Bolton News: Julie is an inspiration to many, and staff wanted to surprise Julie with personal messages on how she has inspired them.

“Some staff have been with Julie since she opened her first nursery and have followed and embraced her journey of Mini Minds Matter supporting children's mental health.”

Julie Robinson opened the nursery in 2003, and she has seen over 2,000 children come through the doors.

Last year the nursery achieved outstanding in all areas in their latest Ofsted report, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, leadership and management, personal development, and overall effectiveness at previous inspection.

Julie is keen for anyone to get in touch with any achievements if they previously attended the nursery by emailing myself at jasmine.jackson@newsquest.co.uk.
