A Farnworth man has spoken of his shock after a car crashed into his home this morning.
Emergency Services, including police and fire crews, were called to the scene on Bradford Road at around 10.30am on Saturday.
The car came off the road and crashed into the front of the house, causing a large hole in the brickwork into the living room of the property.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that no serious injuries had been reported in the crash but its serious collisions unit had been sent out to assess the scene.

Two fire engines from Farnworth Fire Station attended as well as a Specialist Rescue Unit from Leigh Fire Station.
No one was trapped in the vehicle, but the car’s occupants were assessed by ambulance crews.
Adnan Shabbir, who lives in the house with his family, said he heard a "bang" at around 10.30am.
He said the crash hit his living room, pushing a sofa from one end of the room to the other.
He added: "I woke up all of a sudden and I checked my kids and everyone to see if they were okay, normally the kids are down there on the sofa but luckily [my son] was sleeping at the time.

“My daughter and my wife were sleeping upstairs, and then I saw in the window the car was there in my living room basically.
“The police and ambulance came down, they shut down the electricity and the gas and everything and they pulled the car out because the car was inside.
“The sofa was there at the back of the wall and its been pushed down to the kitchen, there’s quite a bit of damage inside.”
The scene had been cleared by around midday but a cordon remained in place around the house and two cars parked on the road.
It comes after a similar crash into a house on Highfield Road in Farnworth on Wednesday night.
A motorist in that incident was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the car he was in smashed into a house.
