A historic Bolton building is under the care of new owners.

Martha Hamill and Joanne Morton have been appointed as the manager and deputy manager at New Care’s Egerton Manor on Blackburn Road.

The building’s rich history can be dated back to 1860 and was previously owned by a local businessman who had roots in mill factories.

The duo will take responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the new state-of-the-art care facility, leading a team of 100 people and delivering care with they say a personal touch for residents.
